We are the last of the authentic Honky-Tonk style dive bars of the past. With our traditional wooden dance floor, penny bar and band stage,
There are varying stories on the exact history of this "Oildale resort" (for real its a resort check the zoning designation). The neighborhood that gave rise to the Bakersfield Sound Country Music. We are the last of the authentic Honky-Tonk style dive bars of the past. With our traditional wooden dance floor, penny bar and band stage, we offer a last of its kind space, juxtaposed next to a state of the art stereo system, backyard BBQ's, pool tables, and darts. Join us in hopefully continuing on a tradition of fun for another 100 years.
Two guys walk into an old, train depot bar, the third one he ducks (or it might have been the Beaver's). It was a long time ago, but in the end, "Go Don's and may peace be with you."

At The Rustic Rail, our mission is to provide a safe & inclusive space for everyone to come together and enjoy great music, drinks, company, backyard BBQ's and hand picked peaches straight from the tree.
We are committed to the idea of celebrating life, except on the days we mourn it.

*Peach picking is a seasonal activity, please do not ask the bartenders's about our peaches in January. Good news is we offer corn hole, domino's, pool and darts ALL YEAR LONG

We would rather park vehicles on gravel than on the 4th floor, prefer the sounds of trains over police sirens, prefer to walk on grass when we step outside with our drinks, and prefer to play our music as loud as we want, as late as we want, whenever we want
